My viewpoint on the real feelings of the working man

Once upon a time....The United States of America had a rare animal roaming the wilds of Washington DC. Free and Independent Thinkers. These "Free Thinkers" had the best interest of the American people at the forefront of their decisions. They thought about the future of this country. The did not worry about "right" or "left." They based their policy's on what was right for the American people. They thought about more, than what will buy them votes in the next election. They thought about the future of this country.
Alas these "Independent Thinkers" all faded into history. An extinct species in the 21st Century. They were replaced by Today's career politicians who's only forward thinking extends the length of the next election cycle. They see how many lies and half truths they can spin into VOTES. These people only care about retaining power no matter what the cost to the American People. When things go wrong they cast the blame on the "other party." No one is held accountable on election day.
Only 2% of the greedy and irresponsible individuals lose come election day. That is a fact that should Shame every voter in this country. They say we get the Government we deserve and look what we got now!
Nearly every voter should be ashamed of themselves for letting these 535 self serving buffoons run this country. There sole purpose, to serve the corporate and special interest groups who fund their campaigns. The Congress votes with these campaign contributors in mind. We the people get lip service. No real meaningful legislation ever gets pasted, only the laws that favor their campaign contributors.
How many middle class Americans do you see Congress. I venture a guess that there are none. Don't you ever wonder how these people got so wealthy when they only work about 95 days a year? I DO.
I have been voting since 1972 and have only voted for a Major Party candidate on two occasions and both times I was deceived and regretted my vote. I have voted for many third party and independent candidates over the years. I believe that the only way we can effect real positive change is to vote as "Free Thinkers" and vote these incumbents out of office. There are many third party candidates in every election who could bring some real reform to Washington DC.
This year when you cast your vote perhaps you should vote with the best interest of America in mind. Don't waste your vote for the same government we have now. We can change this country for the better. The Republicans and the Democrats are not the answer to the problems we are facing.
